This was our second time to Rascal’s Flat, and it won’t be our last. We live in San Francisco, and Guerneville is the perfect locale to escape and bustle of the city for a few days. What we love about Rascal’s Flat is the coziness of a mountain cabin, plus the updated, thoughtful amenities or a boutique hotel.

The place exceeded our expectations, everything was top shelf right down to the hand soap and lotion. The fireplace was very cozy for a winter getaway. We felt very relaxed and comfortable, it was just what we needed to decompress and recharge. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! The location was private and quiet, and the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We appreciated the clear instructions and guidebook provided as well. We’d happily stay again or recommend to friends. Thank you!

Truth in advertising. What a lovely home and a well appointed kitchen for people that want to cook at home. Hot tub was well maintained and lovely. The home is so well furnished and comfortable. Location is amazing and short stroll to Center St and downtown Douglas. I highly r commend you book this property!

A great place operated by a kind and thorough host who was excellent with communication and gave lots of wonderful information of the surrounding area. We visited in the winter and it was so peaceful and quiet and nice.

Great house and location. Along with being in a wonderful wooded and quiet area, the house was a really nice example of a space that provides all the essentials for a high quality stay. Chad was very responsive to my messages and the directions for check in and check out were the most straightforward I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend for a very unique experience.

Celebrated the New Year here and really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and well kept and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed having the options of hanging out in the living room by the fireplace or in the cozy all seasons room. Really cute and quiet neighborhood and walkable to the lake.

Always a wonderful stay at Chad’s properties! This was our third at this particular cottage! Everything is really well thought out for a rental stay and that makes all the difference when you are staying in “a home away from home”. Thanks again!!!

We had such a great time at this beautiful apartment in downtown Douglas, MI! Everything was as promised and Chad was extemely helpful when we had questions. The city is mostly a summer vacation destination so some of the restaurants and business' were not open in the winter which is when we were there. but we were able to find everything we needed in the surrounding area. I would highly recommed this location and apartment to groups of all sizes!
