Retreat perfectly captures this beautifully maintained, cozy rental that is both well-appointed and inviting. Chad was very responsive, replying to questions within minutes. Check-in was effortless, and crossing the threshold immediately felt welcoming. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils, and Chad thoughtfully stocked coffee and included a sample of local drinks in the fridge. The fenced backyard patio felt luxurious, enhanced by lovely landscaping. Our dogs enjoyed their stay and explored the woods on the property, and Chad even provided dog treats and waste bags, which was a kind touch. The rental offers privacy and tranquility, exactly what we wanted, yet it’s just a short walk to Douglas’s restaurants and shops. We hope to return soon!

Great find for the holiday weekend. Loved the outdoor space with great yard and plant life to really feel peaceful. Everything great although the second bathroom shower was a little challenging given the tight space. Walkable to downtown Douglas and easy drive to most other places nearby.

Words can’t describe the experience we had at this beautiful home. It was absolutely one of a kind! Chad was awesome 😎 and super fast to respond!It was minutes from Douglas beach and downtown (walking distance). Saugatuck was also a very short drive from the 🏡. You can pack a lot into a day staying here. Looking forward to coming back!

We had such a lovely stay in the town of Douglas, directly near Saugatuck, and enjoyed the beach, shops, restaurants and nature. The house was so cozy and we loved the outdoor space, landscaping and outdoor shower. The place had a really nice aesthetic and design. The only wish we had was for one room with a bigger than double bed. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we really appreciated the clear communication and organization from Chad.
